BULA AND WELCOME TO PARADISE!
From the moment you arrive at Beqa (pronounced Benga), you’ll know you’ve found paradise among the tropical flowers and turquoise waters of this enchanting island resort. World-class diving, spectacular cuisine, relaxing spa treatments, and the unrivalled Fijian hospitality are yours to savor and enjoy throughout your stay.
A journey by boat across the Beqa Lagoon will transport you from life’s hustle and bustle, to the lovely, secluded Beqa Island. As you near the shoreline, the sound of Fijians singing a traditional welcome song will be the first sign you have arrived in paradise. A warm smile and a floral lei greet you when you step onto the sand of this enchanting island resort, where even the palm trees seem to sway to the music in the warm sea breeze.
A short boat ride from the resort lays a wonderland of marine life in Beqa Lagoon’s crystal clear waters. More than 100 dive sites along 190 miles of coastline provide ample opportunities to spot and photograph octopus, blue ribbon eels, orangutan crabs, rays, numerous shark and fish species, huge fans, and a rainbow kaleidoscope of colorful soft corals. With year-round water temperatures ranging from 75-84˚f (25-29˚c) and on-site nitrox available you can dive Beqa’s wrecks, reefs, and even join the world famous ‘Big Fish Encounter’ the best shark experience in the World, as much as your heart desires.
Their beautiful house reef is perfect for diving any time of day or night, when the fancy takes you. Located straight out from the resort, the reef boasts healthy hard corals, numerous juvenile reef fish, rays, and even the illusive seahorse likes to hide in the shallow eel grass. Reaching a maximum depth of 25ft (8m) this site is not only perfect for diving, but makes an ideal protected area for snorkeling your day away.
